  • Futaba into Spektrum

I`ve been told that I can plug Futaba servo`s into a Spektrum Rx so i`ve bought an AR7000 for my Rappy 30 to convert it from 35mHz to 2.4, if they will plug in do I need to modify the servo plugs in any way or will they just plug straight in please, i`ve not tried to plug them in just in case it buggered anything up, thank you for any help guys.

    Sean.

Futaba plugs have a little lip on the side. If your Spektrum Rx has the accommodation for that gap which I imagine I will do then you're fine

Thanks guys, once i`ve trimmed off the lug, does it matter which way they go into the Spektrum receiver please, thanks again gents

You only need to trim if using the hard case RX's, the soft case ones there is no problem.

For lead orientation, I think "black to back", ie the negative wire furthest from the labels. Of course, negative may not be black! Could be brown...

Yep, white/orange wire should always be on the top

If you look on the top of the AR7000 they show you the polarity of the plugs, black being -ve.
