Bls 451

are the BLS 451 servos ok for cyclics on trex 600 i want these for 3d flying any reason not to use these thanks terry

They are better than Align 610's but both are up to 3d flying.

perfect for 50 size, smooth as silk. slightly down on speed and torque than 610s but brushless

Excellent accurate servos. Though a little slower than the 610 they use a lot less amps, and good for 8v then they are just as fast as 610 anyway.
Mine are now 4 years old and still good. One of my best Heli investments.

People are running BLS451's on Logo Xxtreme's 800 size (not me) but I'm 100% sure they are plenty good enough for any 90 size heli let alone a 50 size.

sweet just what i wanted to here as these are a lot of mulla but 110 + for next ones upin class is way too expensive thanks guys i know what im buying soon also 8v how long they expected to last?

i ask this as i changed my cheapy futabas from 6v to 6.8 and 1 burned out doin tictocs but i dont know if there gears broke first or after hitting the deck thanks terry

Excellent servos... I just got rid of mine when I upgraded to Outrage Torqs, but the BLS451s worked admirably. To be honest the only thing I can really notice that's different in flight is that I can run a higher gain on my FBL system without any oscillation or bobble.

Higher voltage doesn't quite effect the life in the same way as with brushed motor servos... The brushless ones are a bit more tolerant of the abuse. You can expect a pretty long life really.

Worth keeping an eye on the for sale section too... Quite often pop up on there second hand, good condition for around £100-120 for a set of 3. I both bought and sold mine for around that amount on here!

As said by everyone else a great servo i have them on my 600 n 4 years now and have clocked up over 1600 flights on them and they are still going strong

Bit of an old thread this, but I found it today while thinking of fitting my BLS451s to a FBL 7HV with AR7200BX unit.
Worth a read if you thinking of running at 8V on a FBL heli

im going to be running these at 6v but correct me if i read that wrong but they fine on 8v if flybarred but fbl its the high frequency combind with 8v heats em up and is bad thanks terry

Thats right mate, just worth bearing in mind if you decide to go FBL in the future. I was running mine at 8V on a FB Synergy no problems. They always came down stone cold.
