Bls 252 Brushles motor damage ???

Hi everyone I had a small off at Park hall with rexy in the long grass very minor by my standards in true "Raquel" fashion I caught the Fin and flipped the heli in to the long Grass

Minimal Damage Fin & a lost head link Blade fine But I striped the metal gear in my Bls 252 which Jammed it , It remained powered up and was not buzzing horribly when I got to it but as its brushless does a stalled motor damage it ?

I have plugged the servo in minus the gears and it seems to spin up both ways ok so do I just get a gearset ,. or do I junk the servo Again ?

A gearset and I'm sure it'll be fine but if it's going to nag at the back of your head then send it in to Ripmax for a checkup...

If you send it to Ripmax be prepared for a long wait, local model shop sent away BLS251 for me around six weeks ago. They rang up to check and were told that the service department was very busy and they would try to look at it within a week.
