  • ds610 trex550 3gx pitching forward..

Ive recently changed the back servo arm from plastic to metal and the arm was too tight but still funtions. during flight the heli was tipping forward even tho my cg is correct.
ive since fixed the tight arm by filing a millimetre and its smooth. But now the heli is still pitching forward! do u think ive damanged the servo?
or may be a coincident that my 3gx needed to reset?
    Anyone had similar situation?
heli is trex 550v2 3gx with bec pro.
    thanks in advance
    mike

I was advised by someone to re calabrate the 3gx if anything is changed worth a try wouldn't thought a servo horn would make any difference unless your mechanical 90 has changed?

The teeth inside the new servo horn are probably in slightly different positions so your aile pitch is no longer 0 on the blade at mid stick which is making it pitch forward?

                  Hey.

Did you have to add sub trim to the elevator servo to make the metal arm level? If yes and you did so out of DIR mode then this will be your problem, as the 3GX is seeing the sub trim added as a pilot command to pitch the elevator.

Go back into DIR mode and check all the servo neutral positions.
                  .

                    .
ive not touched any trims on the tx.
i will however do a full reset up with swash leveller and see how it goes.
                    thanks
