  • Align DS416M Servo Gears

    Hi Guys
Does anyone know where I can obtain the gear set for this servo.
Looks like one on my Trex 450 has some gears tooth gone.

    Thanks

They're a discontinued servo gdk, you'll be better off replacing them with something current, and better by the way. Really badly built and designed servo from Align. Welcome to the forum by the way

ERCmarket have the servo's on a 72hr stock but not the gear set. There are gear sets available in the USA but by the time you've paid for shipping it would probably be cheaper to buy a new servo from ERCmarket.

As Waveydavey says, they are discontinued and weren't all that good in the first place so replacement would be a better, although more expensive option as all 3 would need to be replaced as a set. KST 215 or the Turnigy 306 (same servo) are reasonably priced for their performance. The Savox 255/256/257 are OK too for a cheap servo.
So many heli's, so little time.

If you want a set of decent but cheap servos that work as standard voltage (5-6V) then the Savox SH257MG that Crashalotjoe mentioned are a decent option. I have a set of three in good condition spare if you are interested.
