Talon 90 Graphical Display Question

Just started running the Talon 90 on my 550e DFC in governor mode (really nice). There is an option in the PC software for graphical display of various parameters which apparently should show sessions (power up to power down is a session I think), but when connected up there seems to be no data to display either by going to "select all" or "specific sessions" and I have flown a few times now in governor mode so would have thought there should be some recorded info.

Any ideas why there is no data available?

Do I need to set something up, or does this option not work with the Talon 90 (I am running the latest Castle Creations S/ware)?

On normal castle software, go threw menu until logging section,select and open press download and should be displayed on screen

I didn't think there was any logging on the Talon's as it is a low cost no frills esc? Got one on my 550e and I'm really happy with it.

As Simon says - the Talon90 does not have data logging - it's the main reason why it's so cheap compared to other ESCs in the "Edge" range.

But I'm not going to replace the esc just for data logging

I know this is not the same as getting the logged data (guess it was a measure not to cut into ice/edge sales) but from my tests the castle set rpm governor keeps the rpm's very close to your asking as long as your gear ratios are correct (on both my ice esc's). If you have a radio with telemetry such as a dx8 you can record the pack voltages and other things if you have the sensors.

You are right about the governed head-speed with the Talon 90, I targeted a value for norm and IU and when I magic mirror tacho'd there was less than 50rpm difference for both RPM values (actual was lower than target). Quite impressed actually.
I took the telemetry (TM1000) off my heli when I moved over to a mini vBar as I found that (if I am honest), I never really used it and it was just another bunch of connections to breakdown and another thing to make tidy. Mini Vbar is so neat and all the wires flow inboard.
