Newbie trying to set up Talon 90 in governor mode

Well, flew today for the first time under governer control and using the throttle curves suggested, it was really nice, none of the bogging that I was getting, everything seemed really smooth. Many thanks to all who posted help.
Advice to any of you newbies (or oldies) if you are flying a 550e DFC with the Talon 90, put it into governor mode, you won't regret it.
I might go up a couple on the pinion (currently 11t with 112t main gear) just to raise the head speed a couple of hundred and see what that is like.

I got the castle link today and I programmed the gov mode. 1 question though is what 3 head speeds should I have roughly? Mine are between 2000 and 2200. Is this correct or should they be higher?

I run 2000rpm on normal and 2300rpm in IU (I only have one IU On my DX7s but use bank switching on my vBar to give more performance choices). I did try 2600rpm but wow it was quick with short flight time.

I went and had a fly but I don't really much difference between normal, idle up 1 and 2 so I thing i need to up the head speed so the 3 are further apart from each other. I'll revisit it tomorrow, probably with 2000, 2200, 2400 for starters.

That would work, you can then find the best for you. What is your max blade pitch?

I'm not really sure what it does so I'll give it a miss for now I think but if I crack it you'll be the first to know.

It's for when you are practicing auto's, if you decide to rescue the auto, you can flick the TH back off, and you get a quick spool up allowing you to fly off pain free....but it doesn't affect normal spool up at start.

Sounds like something I could use. I tried my first auto last week on my 450 and it ended badly.

I need to get my bail out sorted, but i'm in the same boat, can't work it out!
Going to see 'coolice' in a couple of weeks so will no doubt get it sorted then.
