FRSKY with Align 3GX?

Hi all,

Looking to get back into the heli game with a 450 PRO DFC. Only issue I'm unable to tell if the 3GX unit will work with my FrSky TX? I am using a module in a JR 9XII.

I've tried searching the net but can't get a definite answer if this will all work.

Hi,

You can use the 3GX with a frsky receiver. I have them on a compass 3d plus and a 600n, both fly great. Simply conect the 3GX to the frsky ail, elv, pitch, governor, rudder, gyro switch and throttle using the supplied 3GX leads,
run the setup and fly.

Its often slated but for the average pilot works ok. (hell Ducan Osbourn used to manage fine with one as did Alan szabo as well)
As far as setup goes not too awful but in an ideal world youll have a PC and a little basic knowladge of fbl setups, just do a bit forum searching and youll be fine with it.

One thing I will say though is its not a Vbar thats for sure but then again its only a third of the price so I wouldnt expect it to be.

I have 2 3GX's and I rate them both. They are easy to setup and fly great.
I would update it to the latest version (3.1) as it flys fab on that firmware upgrade.
