  • Align gp900

Hi, recently built TTX50 nitro, sorting electrics out now, using 615's and 655 on tail, was recommended using gp900 (as 780 is discontinued) gyro doubling as a receiver, has anyone had experience of them? told to use a spektrum satellite receiver but shows two on diagram? do I need two? have dx7 transmitter.
Any comments and help regarding setting up will be appreciated.
    Thanks, Mike.

    Yes, you need two satellites.

The GP900 is not a receiver, each satellite is, but each one only has one functional antenna so you need two of them to provide diversity for the Spektrum signal.

On a smaller model (450 and below) you might get away with one, but even there it would not be my preference.

      Problem...

Right...Only two servos Plugged into the GP900 - PITCH and RUDD works OK with TX - A DX8 the rest are dead with no power/no TX control - these servos are OK and work normally using a normal RX. The GP900 has 2 spek satt's fitted as per manual - OK whats-up!!
      Thanks...

Have you made sure the others are plugged in the right way up?

If so then swap one of the dead ones into the pitch/rudder sockets and see if they work there. Also check DX8 monitor screen and make sure you are outputting a signal on the other channels.

If so and you only have two working sockets on the GP900 it would suggest it is faulty.

          Mark

All are in correct way round - signal at the "top"- have tried what you suggested and the other servos which they work fine in the two working sockets... as I thought the GP900 does seem faulty! .... grrr

          Thanks anyway!
