Hi guys bought a new gaui 425 and took the spartan quark of the trex 450 and put it on gaui the gyro is only a couple of months old and prob done about a couple of hours hovering. I centred the tail servo ds520 centred the rudder and can't stop the wag on the tail even eith adjusting the rates on my ff9 . Got the metal plate in the gyro to with 2 of the thin pads sandwiching it. Tyres resetting the gyro going through the set up and still get wag with the servo twitching like mad!! Any help?

I can put the gain down to 0% and it still wags badly and servo jitters wildly. When u flick into head hold the servo travels but when in rate stays in the middle?!Comment

0% on the transmitter is 100% in rate mode in the gyro. Try putting at like 65% in the radio!Comment

have you checked the tail assembley make sure it moves smoothly as possible i had problem with a trex 550 tail and had a little bit of locktite had got in the control arm, maybe try moving the ball link in a hole see if that does owt to the wag. Failling that try another servo it might be worn out/faultyComment

It shouldn't b the servo it's a new ds520 and the helis been test flown before delivery but will need to have anothe good close look at it!! Thanks.Comment
