  • CY mini G

Has anyone ever experienced a curtis youngblood mini G gyro turning itself off for a few seconds then back on again, both during flight and on the ground? Any ideas what might cause something like that?

Wiring to the case? Which case? The gyro's or something else? I've checked the external wires coming from the gyro and there aren't any breaks or tears in the silicone sleeving . Are you saying it could be internal? How could that happen? It's been working fine, but I took it out in the wind today and the tail stopped mid flight and didn't start up again until after it had crashed. Having said that, I have noticed it glitching before this and put it down to the receiver losing it's lock. Is there any way to test if it's a short somewhere?

Curtis says it sounds like an intermittent wire - whatever that is. I'm sending him pictures of it. Hopefully he can figure out whatever is causing this. Up until now it's been the best gyro I've had and I've had all the big names.
