Gov & Quark failure on my V90

My ATG packed up this afternoon mid flight and i sh1t my pants,had to let it run out of fuel on the deck,servo was about 40%...my spartan packed up between flights last time out too...not having alot of luck latley boohoo

Not the only one mate, my 700 was looking very sorry for itself yesterday, looking better today, though still a lot to do

My 600 has seen better days, stripped a tail belt, inverted lost the tail and just didn''t get it back over. Needed a bit of an excuse for an overhaul mind so not all bad.

I'm assuming throttle hold wasn't working because of the failure, what happened to the gyro, you haven't got some vibes making their way through the frame have you Nick

So im not alone then....after all my troubles with the V90,to get it flying vibe free i was sooo happy and now im faced with more woes...my mate has a ATG to sell me for 20 bucks and he also gave me a gp750 off his buckled 450 today so its not all bad...anyone know if Angelos would take my Quark for a health check,oh the DS650 is shot too!

no th no idle up no nothing....just a screaming heli on the deck lol...no vibes mate,will check the voltage off the regulated ports on the ar7100 later.

I thought the ATG if it fails should go to your throttle curves ? At least you didn't crash it,

Look on the bright side Nick, the Quark failed between flights not during one, and the ATG only stuck at 40% and not 100%!

Small comfort but but at least you brought it home in one piece!

Hi,the unit failed so no power to the servo.

Really nice flying nick!! I would have proper freaked out if tht happened to me!!

Although my 600 engine almost stopped in flight the other day!! I was doing sum low piro flips wen all of a sudden the engine pretty much wen down to idle and quickly reved back up i thought i bogged the heli down and the engine couldnt cope, this happened wen the heli was aboutt 6ft of the ground in a knife edge!!

After tht i jst hovered the heli around for a while and did a few autos wen all off a sudden the engine stopped for real luckly was just bout to land so popped it back on the ground. after inspection i had notice the main tank was still half full of fuel!! But the header was completly empty, the cuase was the clunk tube snapped clean in half!! so always check the clunk line!!! tht was a very scary and lucky incident!!!
