  • Throttle Servo Recommendations

I'm just finishing my Knight 3D and need recommendations on a digital throttle servo. I have a CY ATG installed and am using a OS50 hyper and will be installing a CSM smartcarb when in stock.

    Cheers

I have seen that some are using micro servos in the switch position on a 3D and then using the empty throttle servo position for a front tail servo conversion. Are micro servos reliable in this application?

They are, as there is no load associated with moving the throttle arm

As long as the carb arm is undamaged/unclogged etc and moves freely. If you get a stiff carb, the servo wants to be good

          Just a thought...
