I promised a freind I would ask this question as he had a tail failure
that resulted in his Hobby Taiwan Raptor 50 going in on Sunday.
He had just fitted a 6V regulator to this heli & after about 6 minuets of sedate flying around with the canopy off the tail let go & it went in hard on it's tail.
I am not overly sure what JR Digital tail servo it was but it was locked up solid even after the power had been cut to the RX.
It would seem the motor or gearbox had seized up.
Are JR digital tail servos able to withstand the use of 6v operation?
Regards Martin
