Help with Revlock needed

I have just bought a Revlock 20 for my second heli after getting on really well with the Revlock 10 on my Airskipper. I tried to instal it tonight but it will not pick up the sensor. It doesn't matter where i put it it just doesn't want to know. I had a brain wave of checking the unit out on my Airskipper as it was all working fine yesterday. I took the sensor and servo leads off it and plugged in the 20 inplace of the 10. I didn't move the sensor or anything else so it should have worked fine. The set up on the skipper will not recognise the sensor either but will let me by pass it and set the headspeed i need and the offset too. I then took it off and plugged the 10 back in and put all the leads back on the same as they came off and now that will not recognise the sensor either!! Nothing has moved or changed other than unplugging the 10 and plugging in the 20 and then swapping them back. I'm baffled as to what is wrong. Anyone got any idea of my problem. I now have 2 revlock units that will not pick up the sensor and i'm a little bit peed off to say the least!! The only thing i can think of is that the 20 is faulty and has knackered the sensor on the 10 set up now??

Hi Chris.

Not what you want to hear, but that does sound like the most plausible answer.

I have just had a Revlock 10 fail for different reasons, not too sure about the general reliability of the things.

I had setup problems with My RevLock 10, until I realised that I had some cables plugged in the wrong way around on the init itsself. Hopefully its something that simple.

Otherwise, send it back under warrenttee

Sorted out the skipper Revlock 10 today. Changed the sensor and still not playing ball so replaced the magnet and it works fine now. The Freya is an easy fix now I've looked in the light and it seems to have the counter balance weight in the fan where the magnet should be which will not help but I have als installed a new sensor to that and a new magnet in an alloy fan and it works so just need to swap fans over and it should work, well I hope so after all this hassle!!
