Could anyone tell me why my Revloc will not disengage once the throttle is brought back to idle. I've set this thing up so many times, but I have to hit hold to get it to disengage once I've come out of idle up.

Also, on my Align governors, it's dead easy to add a program mix so the governor only works in idle up 1 and 2. The only option I can seem to set up on the revloc, is switched off in mode A (normal), then mode B for idle up one.

    Any ideas ??
    Cheers,
    Simon

What transmitter are you using ? on my DX7 i had two program mixes so the governor would not work in normal and i could set two different speeds linked to the ST1 and ST2 switch.

You should be able to use a programmable mix to do that by mixing the channel that switches between mode A and B to itself and then setting the mix to be on in F-s12 (this is DX7). So for instance if you are using Aux 2 to switch modes, the mix would be something like Aux2->Aux2 -125 F-S12. Then dont program a speed at all to one of the modes. No idea why it won't disengage. To program set a linear curve in normal mode from 0-100%, use the throttle trim to get the idle correct, then program the gov by putting the throttle to low press the set button, two lights should come on, move throttle to high, press the set button three lights should come on, decide whether you are using digital or analogue servo move throttle to high for digital or low for analogue and press the set button, 4 lights should now be on and the throttle should return to idle position. Now you need to switch off and on and set your target speed, then move the throttle to armed and set the 250-2000rpm adjustment speed with the aux channel. If you are using a mix like I described you will need to check that it doesn't mess with the fine adjustment speed.

and idle up 1 and 2 set to the two governed speeds.

Right. these are my setting for my 600. With Dsx9
In device select set AUX2 to FMOD SW then INN it ( don't ask)
          Then in PROG.MIX1 set
          point-0 to -100
          point-1 to -0
          point-2 to +100
          point-3 to -100
          point-4 to -INN
          point-5 to -INN
          point-6 to -0

This will turn the governor off in normal, on in ST1 and ST2
You must make sure the setup of the Revlock is done with all ATVs and throttle curves as standard also DON'T set this mix until you have set your rev ranges. I have + 75 on ST1 and -90 on ST2 on my ATV.
          Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I'm running a DSX9. Have not problem setting up the programming on my Align governor, but will try the above method to see if it will work.

Will report back later if I get a chance to tweak it tonight.

Thanks again for the prompt responses.
            Cheers,

All working, can see what you are doing now in the program mix but not very intuitive ???.

I think going through the set up again I realised that I have not been setting the RPM range correctly because I've had my idle up curves set in the back ground (i.e. you can only see the top end adjustment when switching into that flight mode) It has been running fine apart from the disengaging issue, but I think this might have been my error in the set up.

Just to confirm, when I'm in normal mode, the B light is flashing which indicated the governor is inactive ??.

Thanks again for your help. This is why this forum is so great. I would have never have worked out the program mix otherwise.
              Cheers,
              Simon

Yes flashing is off. I know what you mean about the mix1 but it works very well
