ar7100r sensor question

i fitted the above mentioned sensor last night to my align 90 engine and found there is no way to fit the heat sink back on the back plate without modification is there another way that anybody knows of or do i not have to worry about the backplate heat sink ?????

Don't worry about the heatsink, it is neither use or ornament!!

I have seen a few people that have access to CNC facilities machine down the heatsink but it's not really needed, most just bin it.

Just bling. If you fit the sensor take off the heat sink....put it on a keychain
