  • Ace RC / TT DS1015 servos?

Just curious if there is any opinions on Ace RC / Thunder Tiger DS1015 servos?

I went searching for info and could only find some old forum threads which were a mix of mostly praise and a few accounts of QC issues but this was like a couple years ago.

Never had any issues with the ones I used to have in my NSP600 - ran sweet.

Yeah I thought I remember you sold a few of them some time ago. Most of what I read was positive and on balance I suppose the same can be said for the Align servos and they are generally regarded as quite useable.

Yeh - I only sold them as they actually wouldn't fit into the Outrage V50 - they are actually due to the casing marginally bigger in size than your normal servo. Now using DS610 but looking to go HV soon enough.

          1015

Used these servo on my buggies and truggies, have also got them in the 600le on cyclic duty.As has been said the case is slightly larger than some servo,i had to take about one mm off of both sides of the frame to get them to fit.Not a biggie. These used to be £50 but have jumped up in price recently.I have used these for years and have only had one let go on me which was replaced for a new one.For the money the align servo are pretty hard to beat in my opinion

Well, I'm getting 3 of them at a good price and I am going to put them on an Ely.Q Vision Ultimate after stripping the gears on the 9202s that were on it.

I already have another 3 of them on a Raptor 90 but had thought about pulling them out in favour of some DS610's and still undecided on that.
