servo options for an atom 500 FBL stretch?

i am thinking of getting an atom 500 FBL and stretching it to 550.

i am not sure which servos to get, advice please...

i am considering

Hitecs 5425mg
align ds510

cant afford any better, like futaba 9650 so they out.

what other options are around?

both these servos have disadvantage, the hitecs are know to break cases and the align ones i didnt like the feel when i got my 500. so i am leaning towards the hitec.

but considering the atom is going to FBL and as i have learnt crashing my 450 FBL with hitec 65mgs means stripped gears even metals one, i am looking at expensive case and gear cost. so align plastic ones seem a cheaper option

is there better option

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered the Atom 500 fbl conversion kit last week from Nankin but not arrived yet.

Your welcome to pop over afor a cuppa and have a look when it arrives. (or guest fly over the field one weekend)

I also fancy trying the stretch upgrade on my Atom but not sure my old 2650 mah batts will take the extra grunt

I dont know if you are already aware or not but the Hitec servos will not fit the Atom without some modifications.

There is a post here on HF detailing the mods somebody has done to get the servos to fit.
