CSM Revlock 20 settings

I hope someone can help.

I have a CSM 20 that I am trying to configure with a Dsx9. I am using the governor menu in the transmitter.

When the governor is engaged in idle up the engine speeds up to a very high rpm. I have dropped the speed values in the governor menu but these are having no effect. Even when dropped to single figure values.

I guess my question is what settings should I have for the ATV values in the governor channel as I am pretty sure this is where my settings are off? When I enable the governor mode for the receiver channel to which it is connected the adjustment setting in the ATV menu appears with (---) for this channel.

Should I actually use the governor mode at all in the DSX9 (which works fine with my Align gov)?

The way i run mine, and i stand corrected if it's wrong, is to use ATV to adjust the gov speed and have it enabled / disabled by my aux switch on the radio. It's a basic way of doing it and others may programme it to specific flight modes but I like mine engaging above 25% throttle and switch to idle up in the hover.

Hi Steve,

That's the way I'm headed at the mo. Would be nice to use the features of the radio though!

Wish the user manual with the radio was clearer on the use of these functions. Some examples of how the most popular governors and gyros can be used would have been nice.

I do appreciate that these things can be configured several ways.
