Problem with CSM interface??

I'm trying to set up my 720 but i cannot get it to work?? It work straight away on my old pc which is VERY old but now i get this message appearing.....

Unable to extract IO.SYS. Log in as user who has such permission


And then it says

OI.DLL NOT FOUND.


I just ok them both then i get the screen appear but it does not read my gyro?? It says it's not plugged in?? I've not done anything different to before. Any ideas before i put the GP750 back on.

Re-install the drivers again seperately.

Emailed Colin but was told to re-instal the drivers.

Still won't work.!!!

Have you tried to run in XP compatibility mode?

Right click on the CSM software icon and click properties, click compatibility, "Run this program in" and choose Windows XP SP3.

Oh I know, I'm just asking him to invite me to remote assistance and then after hopefully finding the solution I will report back for all to see.

You need to install it twice for some reason if you download the software.

If you have the CD it works fine (think that is the right way round).

You can check if the drivers are missing by right clicking on My Computer, Properties, Device Manager and look for the question mark icon.

Done all that a dozen times but still fails to load the drivers.

Have set to run in compatibilty mode as Laurence says and will try it.

EDIT. Still fails to load drivers or work the program.

Bloody hell, never had thread replies so quick & so many. I've re installed 3 times & it still does it. Yea using windows 7 whereas before i was using windows XP professional.

I don't have the other devices come up on mine??? i've gone through them all & no ??? marks

I am guessing that Colin / CSM will need to redo the USB drivers for compatibility with Windows 7. I expect the program itself is working fine.

Still not working with Windows 7.

Yet it works fine with XP SP3
