These servos work for Cyclic or tail on a 500 ?

Ok, i have a few spare Futaba servo's and i have a mate who has jus bought a Trex 500, he's looking for some servos for his 500.

I'm just wondering if these would work on a Trex 500.

Futaba - FP S14B x5

If they would work fine on a 500 then how much should i sell them to him for ?

Assuming you mean 148's then no. They're too big. They're the standard servos that used to come with Futaba sets and are about £8 or £9 new.

I know one or two guys (well one at least) that use 148s on their Raptors. Personally I wouldn't use them.

I did use them on my planks but the last time I flew one of those was in around 1990, hence they are somewhat old technology.

Here's a list of discontinued Futaba servos. Assuming they're the same spec as the S14's on that list, they're even bigger than the 148's. And nearly 9 ounces!!!!
