Trex 450 Pro servos suck

Trex 450 Pro. Ok my fault I crash this thing from time to time but almost every time I kill at least one 410M servo at £24 odds a pop!

I fly over long grass and would expect to maybe loose a gearset from time to time but the whole servo is killed because the potentiometer shaft bends jamming the geartrain and in turn I suspect burns out a chip.

A crash with these is like Dettol..It Kills 99.9% of all known servos

Looking for an alternative to these servos so whats the choices that stand up to a little punishement.

Also what cheapo blades perform well for flinging this little fellar around.

Yup, had the same too when I bought mine last year. Replaced with HS-65Mgs, but now just run it with HB gearsets as it seems to strip an MG set anyway?!

3D 325mm blades do the job.

HiTec 5065's if i remember correct are pretty much the best option for the 450pro. There were recommended to me when i had the same problem with stripping gears in the 410's

It's funny cos I've crashed my 450pro 3 times (including today d'oh) and have never done a servo!

Crashed my 600 3 or 4 to times and never did a servo in that either!

Must be how you're putting it in! ;-)
