    Hey Everybody,

Anybody setup a GY520 with a Spektrum AR7100R?? Just finishing the setup on the N5 and this is starting to do my bulb in!!

Gyro is connected as per usual and then the setting in the Tx for the usuage of the governor part of the AR7100R have been set but the issue is the tail works but the gyro does not!!..even though it initialises properly. When the Tx settings for using the internal Revlimit are reverted back to standard the gyro works as it should!!...

Not sure if i'm missing something!!... Could be i'm still half asleep and in need of another coffee!!

Been playing with the setup over the weekend due to the weather being poor and found that in the GYRO menu where you now have to adjust gyro the gain as per the setting of the AR7100R the STD settings are:

        50% for Position 0
        50% for position 1

When these values are altereed the servo will react to gyro input,.. e.g when the helicopter is rotated, the gyro responds.

        Anybody else found this?
        Thanks!

Been playing around with the Tx settings and think i may have sorted it.

In the manual for the AR7100R where it intructs you to change the settings in the input select screen to show the following: AUX2 - GYRO and GEAR - AUX2.

I have set these setting to AUX2 - AUX2 and GEAR - GEAR and so far this seems to be working great on the bench, the internal Revlimit is working as it should and picks up the sensor and the values can be altered via the Gear channel and speeds changed with the Gear switch. The Gyro works as it should via the AUX2 Channel where the gain values can be changed and as with the RevLimit the gyro can be switched between Normal/AVCS via the AUX2 switch.

When it was setup as per the AR7100R manual the gyro would not function correctly, with the gain settings at 50% the gyro would just not operate and if both 0 and 1 positions were set at 50% the gyro would not switch between Normal/AVCS. Not sure if this is specific to the GY520 as i have a SolidG setup as per the AR7100R manual and running through the GYRO screen in the DX7se and it works perfectly.

Hopefully the test flight will replicate the bench test as everything seems to operate as it should.

Information worth sharing incase anybody else has a similiar issue!
          Thanks!
