bls251 extension wires

Hi all,
i need to extend the servo wire as it doesnt stretch to the rear of my avant. is the wiring special on these servos?
if so where can i get some?

Any normal extension will work just fine Just make sure you heat shrink the plug and socket together, to stop them separating in flight (aske me how i know....)

na its three wires same as all servos... in a plack plastic round cable sheath so it just looks different...

i wasnt sure because its a quick tail servo it needed a special wire and fitting the wrong type of wire might have slowed the signal down.

I was once advised not to route the wires bundled with normal servo wires, run them seperately as the servo runs on a different frame rate and you may get some interferance.

would it be ok to route it with the wires going to the gyro?

I have done with my rappy 50, using a gy611/bls251 comb had no problems at all

Makes no difference the ammount of cable yopu have available for pick up // induced voltages really wont cause you any trouble...
