s9254 tail servo

Hi guys going to start on he 600 again soon but I visited the lhs earlier I picked up the align 2 in 1 reg amonst other things and as I couldnt remember what tail servo I had I picked up the 5.1v step down as well because I heard one of them doesnt like 6v would it be this servo in particular.

Futaba do not recomend running this servo on 6v. Some people don't bother with the step down and run it a 6v, but I guess that is personal choice.

Had a 9254 on my old 600N with the step down. Never had a problem with it in the two years I flew it.

Kk no worries, I'll run the step down on the tail . cheers for the responce Si_B mate.

Always a tricky one, just make sure the step down is not floating about in your final wiring, the ones I've seen fail got killed by being able to flex and vibration from the heli.

i also had the align 2in 1 then a stepdown for my 9254 on my 600.
never had a problem in the time i was running it.

Its all plugged up with the step down cheers guys, spent ages trying to bind the tx and rx and relized the bind plug had to be in the battery port grrrr, I understand the placement words on the RX better now :/.

Need to start on 90'ing the servos now.
