  • TJ RevMax and Dx6i setup

    Hello all,

I'm a bit in a dot with TJ RevMax and DX6i setup.

I can think of three ways of setting it up, which one will be better or maybe you have some other hints:

Throttle curve linear from 0 to 100.

    1.
Travel adjust for throttle channel +100 up means full throttle up on the engine.
Travel adjust +100 down means engine stop - marks on engine throttle arm are pointing each other >< .
    Trim 0

So I calibrate TJ with this settings, but I will have to use throttle curve to adjust engine idle.

    2.
Travel adjust for throttle channel +100 up means full throttle up on the engine.
Travel adjust +100 down means engine at idle
    Trim 0

Then I don't have to bother about throttle curve - lowest point of curve means engine at idle, but TJ does not see full range of servo movement.

    3.
Travel adjust for throttle channel +100 up means full throttle up on the engine.
Travel adjust +100 down means engine at idle.

Now I will use trim down to show TJ minimum servo position, but if I calibrate TJ this way I will move all servo movement down to I will miss top 20% of servo movement, right?

    Or should I start calibration:
    a) trim down throttle stick down
    b) move trim to neutral and throttle stick up
    c) trim down and stick down

I really don't want to use gear channel for TJ.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind Regards,
    Michal

      Gyro is Align GP750.

On RevMax I dont need 7th channel, there is a pot to set rpm limit manualy.

But question is how to setup trim, throttle curve, travel adjust for best result.
