  • multigov pro and avant fan.

    Hi,
    im going to be fitting the multigov to my avant.
    the fan on the avant has only one hole for a magnet.
    does it matter which way i put the magnet?

    It depends on the sensor. The manual should tell you, if not wire it up and test it then mark the magnet with a pen so you know what way to fit it.

      If it's the same as the eMultigov (which I suspect it is) then yes it needs to be a certain way so do as ddracer suggests and mark it.

        The instructions will tell you to let the magnets attract, mark the attracting faces [ ie N and S ] and then put the marked faces upwards on the fan facing the path of the sensor. When you switch it all on, and rotate the fan, one of the N or S faces will trigger the sensor. This is when you install both magnets.
        In your case, power up the sensor, mark one side of the magnet with a red pen, and see which side triggers the sensor.

          Hey Jon,

          On another point, I believe you will be using a YS in your Aurora? If so I would suggest setting the "low throttle percentage" to 25. The default settings are a little high for a YS
