  • GY611 Servo Compatibility

Apologies if this has already been posted.

I have a GY611 and I have managed to ruin the BLS251 I had on it.

My question is basically - if I go into the special menu and change the frame rate to 1520 or WID as they put it, can I use any decent tail servo on it

    Cheers,

    Paul

Yes it's not a problem going into the service menu and changing its frame rate.
I've done it in the past your ok along as you don't change other settings in there and use a good fast tail servo.

I can't remember how to go into it now as its being a while but it should be in one or two of H/A posts.

With power off, hold down the left + and - buttons together, then power up...the screen will display "bad op"...now push the right pair of buttons together and you'll be able to begin scrolling through the secret menu
          In the link above

Also Callum done a 'how to' into accessing the menu.
