  • power hd servos

    hi has anyone been using the new power hd ds120m servos that fast lads sell in a 50 size heli, i am after some cheap servos for a back up heli, and the spec on these look great

    facts and figures look okay.

    but be cautious. - i used £20 hitec servos and its cost me £150 in spare parts due to failure.

      I used some of the same brand in a TRex 450 briefly and they seemed fairly decent but one of them did burn out (thankfully not in the air).

        i have read that the power hd factory make alot off servos for other companys and have started the make the own ie powed hd range, there is some good reviews in plane forums but not so sure with the helis

          I've been using these
          HD Digital metal gear servo 16g/2.7kg/.16sec
          in my SJM360 and a 450SE Clone, Great results fast good centering, i run them at 6.0V with no problems.
          I did however crash the SJM and one of them broke, but cant blame the servo for that, just my quality flying
          Furion 450, Razor 600E, Fury 55, , Stratus 90, Fury 90 Extreme, Spectra G
          Futaba 10CG

            also been looking at savox 0254 servos does anyone have any information on them

              Align servos are actually made by Savox. Not sure about the 0254's you mention but the Align's are definitely great servos.

                Well just ordered some savox 0254 servos instead off the power HD so will see how they are
