Question about the align governor

Hello,I've set up this governor for the first time today on the bench,going to try it tomorrow and I need some things clarified.I've set the governor to be on,on all flight modes but in normal mode that I have a linear throttle curve shoyldn't it be off when I have the throttle stick below 30%?It stays on even if I hit throttle hold.Isn't this wrong?

yes thats wrong.
It should switch off atlow throttle and throttle hold.

repeat the setup - the bit where you teach it what open and closed are must have gone wrong.

I'm pretty sure the led should change colour when the throttle is closed...

The led changes colour when you select governor on or off on the switch

I've set it up to work with the AUX 2 switch,for turning it on and off,normal mode is 70% on position 0 of AUX2 switch and then I used 2 programming mixes to set up values for AUX channel through flight mode switch for stunt 1-2,all these are for DX7.I've calibrated the governor 3 times allready per the manual.

OK I have done 5 of these now. When you set a +ve % the light will go green. The gov is active but here is the confusion the gov will not regulate the head speed untill 25 to 30% throttle but even if under that the light will be green.

The light goes red if:
1. The gov gain is set to a -ve % number. (you have disabled the gov)
2. It has a positive number but can not sence the magnet. (but you can't really see this as it only usually happens when it throws one in flight)

just make sure you dont set a 0 value as it confuses the gov

LOL yes thats a bit of a floating point between on and off. If you want it off set -100% to be sure. (set to 0% you can gov the headspeed to tick over, not good)

moyesboy I sholdn't worry about it to much. When I fitted the 1st one to my rappy a 5 min job took about 5 hours making the bracket and getting my head around it. I didn't help that even finless has it wrong on his vid the light sequence wrong when testing the poles on the magnets.
