Freezing servo

Any one know what causes a servo to freeze?
just changed the gyro on my pro and apon testing the ds520 works for about 20 secs then all of sudden freezes and I have to reset the heli to make it work again. Pretty glad I spotted this before a flight tbh. Have swapped out the servo for another ds520 and all seems fine but I'm a little wary now.

Any thoughts?

Hmmmm, my first thought was that the new gyro might be using a different pulse rate but if another 520 works fine then it wouldn't seem to be the gyro.

Funny you should make this post, I've had a problem with the tail on my 250 just lately and was convinced it was the 420 servo but earlier this week I came across a GP750 gyro and decided that I'd fit it with a new servo as the current one was a basic 420 CSM. After fitting the gyro I thought I'd just have a quick look at what the old servo was doing with the new gyro before changing it and every thing was perfect. I can't work it out the CSM gyro still works fine and is now going into my scale wolf as I dont intend to do any fancy flying with it I'm sure it'll be fine. But the Ds420 also works fine with the Gp750.

It seem's that not all servos are exactly the same in their technical spec, I do wonder if yours and my fault is due to a lazy proccessor and when a specific frame rate is requested is when they play up.

Could be, the servo worked faultlessly with th gp750 but on swapping the gyro to the new gp780 is when I had issues.
