  • JR service in the UK

Anyone know who to contact for service for JR products in the UK? I have a DS8717 that has been acting strange and getting very warm so I wanted to send it in to be looked at but have no idea where to start??

8717 is an American servo I think.

So you may have a little fun with Mac's

There is an independent radio service engineer who works out of one of our local shops here in Hampshire

            Mike Ridley

I believe he is looking at an 8717 for Daren at the moment

On second thoughts, surely you should offer it back to the trader who sold it to you to deal with?

As said by heliheaven mike ridley is having a look at mine, An option i did think of was removing the 8717 sticker and sending it to macgregors, It must be close to the uk spec 8915.
                  Cheers Daren

What was the problem with yours Daren? Mine sounds much deeper when it is centering and gets real hot. Its also very jittery when its centering

If you pinged the the stick it wouldn't stop juddering backwards and forwards and got warm, Mike recons it's the pot as he didn't receive it till late on friday it's early days yet, He's got his fingers in all the model companys and can get/fit the needed parts at a very good price.
I'll let you know how it goes..
                      Cheers Daren
