GP750 Help

Hi guys
have an Align GP750 fitted onto my 250 which is giving me grief. when I connect the power the gyro sets but then after a couple of seconds deflects to full travel and stays there. if I flick to non heading hold it is recentres.
I can lift off but it slowly piros left (anticlock).
If I go through the setup again, only changing the travel adjust, it sometimes locks and is fine.
before I check the internals of the gyro (with a hammer) has anybody any ideas??

The prob will be in your tx set up check sub is 0 etc on rudder

Thanks, but have done that already, havnt changed the TX settings and has been fine up until recently.

Only thing i can think of is the way it powers up my spartan gyro sometimes acts up you using spec rx ?

I know some people have been rebinding to sort out issues like that..... as much info as i can give really best of luck

Will try that and see, certainly cheaper than inspection by hammer

You have to make sure that you do not move the heli or rudder stick at all and I mean not even a little for the first 5 seconds, this catches me out frequently with the 750, probably because all my other helis have a switch, with the smaller helis you are generally plugging a pack in to make it live and it's all too easy to move it during the gyros initialisation period.
The other thing is to do as others have said is to double check you have no subtrim or trim on the rudder (check all modes) and rebind when you are certain.

Going to go for a rebind, i was hyper careful not to move the heli when connecting the battery as I thought of the same thing, will try tonight and see what happens

my 750 has been pretty flakey as well and will often fail to initialise properly on power up. Sometimes it will just lock and fail to respond, other times it will slowly creep to full travel one way or the other. Not much of a problem as long I remember to check it before take off as once it's working I never have a problem in flight. When I looked into the issue a few months back I came across a fair few reports of similar things from other people.

The only other thing I can think of is a dodgy tail servo
