  • Align DS650

I,m in the middle of my 700LE build, and tonight going to plug in the servos to centre them to do the push rods.

Is it OK to just plug in the DS650 tail servo to the receiver, or does it have to go through the gyro? I remember reading somewhere that some of the Futaba tail servos must not be directly connected to the receiver.

AFIK only the S9256, S9251 and BLS251 have the narrow pulse width and should never be plugged straight into the RX.

The DS650 uses the standard pulse width and so can be plugged into the RX.

No it does not have to go through the gyro although all you need to do is put the gyro in rate mode if you want to centre the servo arm.
