Align DS650 Gears?

    Align DS650 Gears?

    Hi all,

    I've stripped my gears on my align ds650 servo and struggling to find replacment ones, are they the same as the 620's or others? Any help much appreciated

    I have checked Hobby hangers site but can't see them
    but that doesn't mean they don't.
    They list the others
    are all the gear Titanium in that servo?

      To be quite honest, i've not disassembled it yet (though you can defo hear/feel they have stripped)
      I've checked the likes of
      Fast-lads,
      Revolution,
      Real-raptor,
      Skyline,
      and they only list the complete servo. Spare gears for the rest of the align range tho.

        Bobj will probably know - I bet they are the same as the 620 or something.

          Just checked,
          they are the titanium ones. There doesn't appear to be any teeth missing but it feels rough as hell.

            is the case ok it must off had a hard hit to bend a gear?

              Hmmm I'm very interested in the out come of this... was just about to purchase a DS650.
              Also do you mind saying how it was damaged? many thanks!

                Now then, i've just had a good think. I do remember the servo 'felt' a little rough when new. It definately feels worse than it did. The servo is working and moving in both directions fully. It's used for the tail, so would prefer to get new gears for peace of mind now.

                The case is ok thanks

                  I'm going to meet up with Rapidgaz, as he has the same heli/setup/servo's as me to compare the feel of the servo then go from there.

                    Hey chris,
                    did you manage to come to any resolve with this issue?
                    Oh also does everyone elses DS650 servos make a weird kind of digital/ mechanical sound?
