  • Setting the Revlock 30

With my Align governors, I have the governor disabled in normal mode, and then use a program mix to make it active in idle up 1 and 2. Can you do this with the Revlock 30. Been reading the instructions, but if I've read it right, you can't switch it on and off as it engages once the throttle curve goes over 15%.

I don't like the idea of the governor being on all the time.

    Thanks for your help.

    Cheers,

    Simon

    Hi,

Yes you can do this. Just adjust the mix or gov settings on your tx so that the light in the top rights flashs instead of displaying a speed setting.

eg, if you want the gov off in normal mode, put the stick above 15% throttle, adjust the mix/gov setting until the 4 speed lights go out and the light on the top right flashes. This is then turned off.

    Hope that makes sense?

Thanks for that, I read the instructions again and saw that if you don't set a speed setting, the governor will not arm. Tried using the same program mix on my DSX9 which I used with the Align Governor, but I can't seem to get it to be set to mode A in normal throttle, then mode B in idle up 1 and 2.

I've decided to just leave it set to 17k on my Aux switch in mode A, then I have 17.5k in mode B. Will disable it for the first few flights when I'm running the motor in.

      Thanks for the advice.
