401 Clone?

I think when we say copy the 401, there are two parts we need to pay attention, 1st, copy the software. 2nd, use the same internal electric, sensor etc, then is a proper copy or we say good copy, otherwise it is a cheap copy. the easy way to find out is open the gyro case, all the electric still have their own name/manufactory code on it. hope this will help.

Cheers Andy, the 401 copy I have is the GA401 which was supplied with my 450 clone. Not sure whether the gyro was supplied with it but it is rubbish, a soggy bowl of custard has more sticking power in it.

Phil, how did you get on with it. Looking for something for my sons 450 thats better than the one he has on it.

A couple of mates used theirs from the same shipment and said they were OK for normal/gentle/average flight but would be less happy if they were pushing too hard. Not sure if they still have them now but I can ask?
