Tail servo! AGAIN!!

Hi there Guys,

Am after a tail servo for the raptor 30, its curently fited with a 401 gyro, and a standard servo, so i want to upgrade it, as its not quite as responsive as i would like.

The question is that, although the s9254 is my first choice, it is at the moment a little out of my prce range.

Would the Align DS650 Digital Tail Servo be a comparable replacement??

I am no where near 3d flying yet LOL. Only sport flying, but want the tail to feel really locked in, like the blade 400 does GP750 and 520 servo)

Even a ds620 will be perfectly fine, and save a little more money.
Put up a wanted post and see if you can pick up a secondhand example

I'd sooner have an Align 620/650 over the 9254 anyhow

I have been running a 9254 on my Raptors tail since 2004 and its still perfect I also have one on my throttle which also works without issue. However any standard size fast servo would be suitable but I have heard good things about the Align 620 and 650 servos, so if they are less $ then go for one of them.

I am giving the new ds650 servo a bash on my TZ 90 frency, so am very keen to see how it performs

my mate uses a ds620/401 combo on his rappy 50 tail and it works a charm.
he's at mild 3d level flying. so the align should suit you sir

the align electrics are great for the money you pay.
