  • Is it worth changing my RCE-G600...?

    Hi there

As the title says......now im flying my 600 harder im starting to notice the governor doesnt "get hold" of the revs very well after ive been loading the head heavy....an example would be say continious tic-tocs whilst gaining height then flipping over and flying back down...the revs pickup quite alot untill either the gov reduces the throttle or I load up the head again.

My qeustion is would another governor have tighter control of the engine RPM better than my Align G600....??

    Thanx
    Ken

I found that governor to work fairly well, but it wasn't too hot at limiting the overspeeding in my testing. Not terrible, just that I've used better.

Engine tuning tends to play a large part in how well a governor works. the best thing you could do is tune your engine for 3D flight with the governor disengaged. once it is working well that way, re-engage the governor and see if it makes a difference.

    Cheers,
