  • Futaba GY520 and Futaba 3154 dig servo

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me correct frame rate to set for this Futaba servo with the GY520? chioce is 760us or 1520us.
Is there a safe choice if you don't know which one?
Ripmax don't know and suggest plugging it in and if it buzzes it's wrong.
I don't want to damage the gyro and suggested would happen in the manual.
    Thanks

You wouldnt damage the gyro anyway, the thing at risk would always be the servo since the gyro serves the servo with power and signal, with most electronic items its the things downstream of the supply that get damaged by wrong settings/accident, only if there is a short downstream can damage really occur upstream, since that would draw lots of current, which would not be good for the supplying item.

When they say it could damage the gyro in the manual, they're probably just covering themselves.

Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Hi Guys, Unfortunately I tried the Ripmax plug in and see idea. The servo is now toast. I don't know why, I thought the default was 1560us.
Never mind, we all have to learn one way or another.
I flew the heli (Trex 250) on a cheap 9g servo and it hovers fine.
