None of the big boys have them in yet but don't think it'll be long,a cheeper alternative to the 9650, it'll get you into mild 3D just don't think it would have enough torque for fast backwards stuff. but a good start at the wright price for the micros http://trex450.co.uk/shop/index.php?...oducts_id=1564
    cheers Lee

If it ain't broke fix it until it is

Look pretty good for my camera mount as well, hopefully being digital they are nice and accurate.

Had one in my hand today, tiny, looks OK, based on 3110 I think so same crappy spindly arms but others will fit, slightly longer cable as well.

They also have a servo just out to compete with HS56/65's which looks OK about £18

A great 450 digital tail servo is the HDS-577 from Ashtek Electronics.
        http://ashtekelectronics.com/store/h...rvo-p-223.html

It is slightly larger than this one and is fractionally slower (0.02 slower) but has twice the torque!
Oh yeah, it's slightly cheaper too
It works well on my trex...
        Cheers,

I have 2 of these available to offers as my T-rexes are both now on 9650's

            Phil,
Have you noticed a difference in the tail holding power between the 577 and the 9650?
            Cheers,

At my level they feel very similar but my friend who can actually thrash a heli round the sky reckons the 9650 is miles better.

On both mine the only difference I notice are the stops seem more accurate and instant...

                Cheers for the info.
I have not had an opportunity to chuck a rex around the sky with a 9650 on it yet...

I think that the 577's will suit my purpose even better, more torque would be great especially as speed is not crucial (as long as a 401 would be happy running it). They are not too bad a price either which is great news...

I've tried nearly all the small digi's on the micro's and the 9650 is the best for out and out 3D especialy with a 401 really locked in
the 577 is good too but not a patch on the 9650
