The seller has been very good about this and offered to give me a refund on return of the package, he did however point out he didn’t say it was for a Helie or did he ask me to bid (fair comment to make)

So Have i done some Wrong then ????????

i have had no problems running this item in foamy's on 3 cell lipos at all.

PLEASE go read the auction again before u start dishing dirt as i didn't list this item incorrectly and it was put on for £1.99

so is it my fault people don't bother to research before they bid

Why post this? I’ve just mailed you and apologised and agreed with your comments, and said on this forum that you had been very good about the whole thing.

No but I still think it’s my fault maybe I should have just kept it, after all like you said no one forced me to buy it in the first place.

Dont worry about it m8 like i said i give u a refund if u want even though its your mistake or if u want the item i will give you a £5 refund as u did pay to much for it

but dont use it in a heli its rated at 3amps, good for small planks / foamys etc

Fixer, i personally would have done a little more research before buying anything.

Jason, you know its dodgy, remember the range check on the mini tigershark that became spot on after switching to a normal 5 cell battery? That was just running 3 standard servos, no way will that hit 3amps.

well done for offering fixers money back tho doing the right thing feels good doesnt it :-)

do us all a favour put it in the bin or throw it back at channel 4... had a go at them about selling these a couple of weeks back after trying to sell Darren one for use in his futura nova!!!

                  damn things are dangerous.

Putting one of those in a Nova would have me running for cover

Yep your right and I have learnt my lesson from this, I've gone for the Duralite regulator with the step down included.

fyi Ade the reson it was bad in the tigershark (I found out later) is because i was trying to run it on a 2c lipo and it gliched like mad because it was out of spec, its rated from 7-25v
since ive been using it on a 3s lipo its spot on range tested the same with or without

it has been totaly fine powering an rx and 2xhs81mg at 6v giving them much more speed and torque, eliminating have to overwork the ESP by not having to use the onbored BEC.

I wouldn't use it in a heli but then did i say it was for this use ? again check the auction next time before shooting your mouth off Ade.

Be carefull Chaps as Ade will try to sell u the most expensive equipment so u can learn to hover, i see him do it time and time again.
That seems quite unfair and uncalled for, to me.
In my experience, if you buy cheap you buy twice - as seemingly has been proven in this thread, yet again.

It's not a matter of selling the most expensive equipment, it's a matter of selling, or advising someone to buy, the right equipment to get them going, progressing and keeping on progressing using the same stuff they started out with, thus reducing overall long term outlay in this expensive hobby.

The stuff that works best generally costs more, but it will last you from beginner stages through to expert in most cases.

                          Again, just my experience.
                          Cheers,
                          Rob

Jason, You mean like the time you bought a 601 off of me? Remember hour i spent trying to talk you down to a 401?

nothing i have seen you do would make a 401 complain.

as for 7-25v a 2s lipo is getting pretty flat at 7v. None of the other regs work below 7v either including your fromeco arizona that works great on a 2s li-ion
