611 gyro's

Ive noticed on the BMFA site that there seems to be a lot of Futaba 611 gyro's for sale are there any issue's with them ???...............

No mate i think more people are going to more compact units like align and spartan gyros, plus the new gy520, piro rate a bit uneven though

Nope, it's just that Spartan's are better

Kidding aside though, I quite like them, just wish the Piro was more consistent

Nope. Great gyro. I think many people are upgrading to the Spartan which is why 611's are cropping up on the for sale boards. The 611 can take a bit more time to set up and has a remote amplifier box so takes up more space than some of the newer designs. This gyro won 3D masters a couple years back and until recently was considered the market leader.
