Align RCE-600 governor on 6 channels?

From what I can work out it doesn't seem possible to use this governor without a 7th channel to control the head speed.
A CSM govenor allows this - the head speed is set on a pot on the governor and the governor is active all the time the throttle is over 25%.
There is no such manual setting for the align.

Any ideas?

(Mojo has a used 600n with a governor and a dx6i to fly it with...)

Sorry, no clues here - I had to change my Futaba 6EX for a 7C. Works fine though.
