Upgrading a Spartan DS760 Sport

Hi All,

Just checking what I need to do in order to upgrade my Spartan Sport gyro to full 760 specs.

My current understanding is that I need the USB interface cable, then I down load just the firmware updater from the Spartan website and it is this firmware updater that actually performs the upgarde once the gyro is connected to the PC.

If anyone could confirm if I have the right end of the stick I'd appreciate it.

Yes that's correct.

You need to power up the Spartan and plug the USB inteface in when it asks you.

It's very easy. Also you can then configure the gyro if you want. I only reduce the built in expo in Heading Hold and adjust the gains a little to improve the stops (not necessary if you are a beginner).
