Trex 500 with a DS520 tail servo

Evening all,

I have recently purchased a s/h Trex 500 and it has a DS520 tail servo fitted. Are there any particular gyros that work better with the DS520 or will any good quality gyro do ??

following on, any suggestions for a good gyro for the 500 ?? I've heard of the GY401 which seems to be very popular but also, now, very expensive new..

I have no preconcived ideas about this and am totally open to suggestions and advice which is always great on here.

You could also look at CSM 720.

I'm using a CSM720 on my 500 with the DS520. The GP750 from align is similar price, the spartan slightly more. The 401 is now just as expensive.
You could try the Logictec 2100T perhaps, might be a little cheaper.

The servo will work with most gyros except the GY611 but you won't be going there anyway!
