  • Align DS610 servos

    Ok guys

After 'borrowing' servos, gyro etc from one of my 600's to get the 700 going I have slowly got together the parts to get it flying again including 3 DS610 servos.

Well, tested them this evening and I have to say they are BRILLIANT!!

At my level I honestly could tell no difference between the Aligns and the 8915's I have in my other helis.

I know the cases have been known to be brittle and this may happen to mine but overall, for the money, I cant fault them.

Longevity is the next test. We shall see!

They work well, and mine still centred perfectly when I removed them recently.
    Just check the cases often.

    All should be fine!
    Cheers,

Yeah, I remembered not to overtighten them and make sure they were square after your post about the lugs Rob.

100% agree James. Time will tell but as it stands they are awesome and, here it comes, the best value product I have ever purchased on anything heli related!!! There is no need to buy 3152's etc as a noobie only to upgrade later when these servos cost about a tenner more and will outfly most.

I have installed them on my new super pro.... Still running in so have not had a chance to really put the heli through it's paces but fitted them without hesitation following good reports.

I have them in one of my 600N`s and they are great.

They have had a fair bit of use now also.

I too have them on my NSP and think they are as good as any other top end servo I have tried. I know Align don't have the greatest rep for electronics but I am impressed with this offering so far.

got 3 for my Logo 600 flybarless, so hoping for good things.
Unfortunately, one was a bit duff, so waiting for a replacement before I can evaluate them

anyone got any updates on these? Im thinking about a set for my newly acquired synergy n9 but as ive just been saying to Tim (busterboy) on MSN, im still mildly scepticle about using such a cheap servo in such a big/expensive machine.

As quoted to Jamie via msn, Bought 3 of these for my latest 600Pro and really can't fault them.

Maybe just me but I cannot tell the difference between these and the 8915's in my 600nsp.

I have 3 off 610`s in one of my 600N`s they have been in there since they first became available and they are faultless.

My first Logo 500 has 3 off 620`s fitted and they are great too..
