  • Ino-lab 450 Servos

I'm in the process of deciding which cyclic servos to go for in my new intended Beam E4

Top of my list are the Hitec 65MG.....but I'm interested to see if anyone has used or flying the INO-LAB Metal Gear Digital Servo 9.7g and what do they think? Worth going for or stick to the HS65MG?

Trexmad and Blink are selling them.....so they cant be bad...

I've never heard of them mate but they look like a solid piece of kit.

But I think I'd stick with the tried and tested MG-65's, as you know you'll be tip top with those Bro.

I got talked into buying 3 Ino-Lab HG-D202MGs for an Outrage G5. They were the same price as the (default) HS65MGs I was going for, but were digital.

I've decided to use HS65MGs instead, specifcally because the G5 needs 13mm from sevo shaft to 'ball', and the Ino arms are only 12mm to the end hole.

I got some HS65 arms to see if I could use these instead, but the servo shaft on the HS65s is significantly wide than on the Ino servers.

I've no idea how either perform, but the HS65MGs seem heftier, and are the default option. The Ino ones do seem less substantial.

I may try them on the tail of an EP100, as a light digital servo.

Well guys took your advise and ordered 3 x Hitec 5065 mg servos along with a new Spektrum AR200 reciever...

Did some home work with prices.....and whilst there will always be someone cheaper, I used Sussex Model Center as they were the most competitive I could find for both items.....

The futaba S9257 has already been ordered for the tail servo. All I'm waiting for now is to order the Beam E4!

Incidently if you purchase the motor and ESC with BuzzFlyer they throw in an Aluminium Flight case......

Ash has used Ino Lab servos on various models and they work very well.
I'm not sure if he's tried thee 450 sized servos yet, but maybe.
He has posted info about them on the outrage-tuning forum...

As you've probably read Lee, I went with the Hitec 5065 mg.

I would be interested how the ino labs fair when you finally get your Rave airbourne as I though as their pricing seemed respectable....Cheers mate
