Anyone out there using this gyro? I'm interested to exchange info
I've just test flown my trex 500 with this gyro.
It seems to drift a fair bit and then stabilise after a minute or so. I tried different mounting pads but the fact that it stabilises after a minute or so sort of rules out the mounting. Heli is very smooth indeed, no bad vibes.
I thought it might be becuase I took it out of the warm house into the cold, but disconnect and reconnect didn't cure it as it set off turning again...
Seems to need 6 clicks of left on my DX7 (expo at 30%) then it seems OK for the rest of the flight (only done 2 flights).
Also the gain is a lot lower than my 401 on my 450, or my 720's on my .50 nitros gear channel end point at 39%.
Hold seems reasonable, just breaking in the pack but couldn't resist a few tick tocks and flips.
